Pulse Electromagnetic Field

What is PEMF therapy?

PEMF therapy is a form of magnetic stimulation or energy medicine using devices known as PEMF devices that emit pulsating electromagnetic fields, these electromagnetic vibrations are tuned at specific frequencies and amplitude. PEMF therapy devices are designed to target specific areas of the body or provide whole body effects as well.

In the US and Canada, PEMF treatments have been FDA approved for healing non-union bone fractures and also mental depression that doesn’t respond to medication (treatment resistant). We can see that the effects are on a neurological level while bone and tissue recovery also happens when PEMF treatments are applied according to research. This is truly a great advancement in healing and performance enhancement technology.

Benefits of PEMF therapy

PEMF has been researched and applied for hundreds of conditions and it’s efficacy has been studied on several cellular and biological systems. The most noticeable PEMF effects are:

Improved energy levels and physical performance

Reduced pain and inflammation

Reduced allergies and improved respiratory system

Improved sleep and mood

Reduced stress and enhanced mental performance

PEMF Therapy is beneficial for all living beings including plants, animals and human beings. There is nothing but benefit if you tune-up your cells to perform better.

We believe that more than a million people worldwide are using PEMF devices. The range of application is huge and so also the demographics of its users. Writers, musicians, sports & fitness professionals have reported amazing performance improvements and recovery effects while seniors and those suffering from chronic pain, sleep problems and a range of neurological issues have reported relief and longevity enhancing effects.

Therefore PEMF therapy should in most cases help you. You will definately note an improvement in your sleep and well being if PEMF is applied regularly. You will feel younger and more active too due to its energy enhancing effects, specially with whole-body PEMF systems.

Why PEMF for headache and migraine?

As a complementary therapy, PEMF for headache and migraine could be a viable solution as it is non-invasive and drug-free pain relief technology. Pulsed electromagnetic fields applied to the brain work as transcranial magnetic stimulation.

Headaches and migraines can occur due to anxiety, stress as well as inflammation in the brain. Also overuse of certain medicines can be a reason for having headaches or migraines1. In an article by scientists from the Department of Neurology, UCLA (California) it was reported that blood flow or vascular function is disturbed during a migraine attack and may be used as a target for treatment.2

In a recent study from Mayo Clinic, the impact of PEMF therapy on vascular function and blood pressure in hypertension patients was assessed in a placebo-controlled trial. It was concluded that 12 weeks of PEMF therapy may improve blood pressure and vascular function in hypertensive patients.

Migraine is multi-dimensional and often manifests silently causing pain or discomfort in other parts of the body. The nervous system which makes us feel pain which is necessary for survival connects our entire body that includes the brain, spine, muscles, etc. Therefore, balancing and stimulating the entire body maybe an easy to use strategy with a higher success rate that urgently needs further clinical investigation. There are many benefits of PEMF therapy besides treating headaches and migraines, so a full featured system might be the best go-to-strategy for obtaining a decent PEMF machine for regular use.
